TruGolf is giving simulator golfers a much bigger world to play in, expanding its E6 software library to more than 15,000 real-world golf courses. The catalogue has grown by 50% in less than a year, with courses loading on demand rather than requiring a bulky software installation.
Built on Cesium for Unreal, E6 renders each course in its real-world geographic setting and streams only the data needed for a round. This reduces storage requirements and helps players spend less time waiting between courses, whether they’re practising at home or playing at a multi-bay entertainment venue.
E6 is compatible with 19 launch monitor models, allowing golfers to access the expanded library across a range of hardware brands. The same course catalogue is also available at TruGolf Links venues, giving locations worldwide a streamlined way to offer players thousands of courses without storing the entire library locally.
