In one of its simplest forms, a table consists of four legs and a rectangular surface that's parallel to the floor. The Ombro Collection might keep within the convention of comprising flat vertical and horizontal components; however, it fools the eye into seeing additional dimension.
To accomplish this illusion, Studiolav created tabletops with two layers, spaced out with sufficient height to offer storage. While the majority of the upper surfaces are made up of solid material, they have sections of excised stripes that are similar to the textures you'll see across the lower levels. The lines lie perpendicular to each other within the Ombro Collection side tables, producing the impression of pattern and shading that brings intrigue to standard furnishings.
