Subway Fights Hunger in Honor of National Sandwich Day

In honor of National Sandwich Day -- a holiday that celebrates the birthday of sandwich inventor John Montagu Sandwich -- Subway restaurant is giving back to the community by providing meals to those in need. From November 3rd until November 9th, the brand is asking customers to order their sandwiches online, and for every order, Subway will provide a meal to 'Feeding America.'

"No one should ever struggle to find their next meal, but sadly one in nine of our neighbors do. Subway and our franchise owners are committed to helping our neighbors in need get access to nutritious food," says Victor Lamberti, Subway's Manager of Community Engagement. "And, we invite our guests to join us in doing good in our community."
