Obscura Cuelight Billiards Table Breaks Away from Standard Design

 - Jan 30, 2010
Now I’ve played on some pretty fancy tables in my day, but nothing quite like the Obscura Cuelight Billiards Table. The first high-tech table ever built, it features motion detectors and sensors that track each individual ball and an overhead projector that links up with said sensors and reveals the image of a pinup girl as the balls pass over a certain area of the table.

Depending where the cue balls are, they reveal a certain part of the image creating a ripple effect visual as the ball moves around the table. The Obscura Cuelight Billiards Table currently resides at the Esquire Magazine mansion and is the only one in existence. So sorry guys this puppy won’t be at any local pool halls anytime soon.
