Mr. Obama Owes Canada a Case of Brew Thanks to U.S. Hockey Loss

— March 1, 2010 — Lifestyle
President Barack Obama owes the Canadian Prime Minister a case of beer. Obama made a friendly wager with Canadian PM Stephen Harper before Sunday’s United States v. Canada gold medal game. Canada beat the United States 3-2 on Sidney Crosby’s overtime goal.

Obama wagered a case of Yuengling, a Pennsylvania regional brew which is the oldest in the country, versus the Molson beer offered by Stephen Harper. Obviously, the States lost and now Mr. Obama owes Canada a case of beer. You win this time Canada.

By the way, how much does Barack Obama love the brew? I think I might I might even be able to haggle my way into a beer with B-Rock.
