Padded Nylon Slip-On Mules

Dries Van Noten Showcases a Special Padded Footwear Design

Belgian fashion label Dries Van Noten introduces a special pair of padded nylon mules that are perfect for the colder seasons of the year. As the fall season kicks off, the brand creates a backless slip-on silhouette using padded nylon materials and a khaki colorway.

The loafers are a perfect transition to the season as a cozy piece with traditional tailoring that stems from slouched looks and billowing textiles. The khaki padded nylon makes up the upper and it has tonal stitching to help create more puffed-up padding. This gives sits a more technical design language and modern aesthetic. It sits on top of a black Vibram Gumlite sole unit foundation and a black insole to match.
