This homemade lasagna soup is an ideal combination of a rich broth inspired by the classic layered noodle dish that is ideal for the cooler months. The soup transforms the popular family meal with a new format that gives the dish more tomato flavor.
Unlike a traditional lasagna, this soup calls for a few new ingredients such as chicken stock, fusilli pasta and extra crushed tomatoes. The soup begins with a chicken stock broth infused with veggies and prominent tomato flavors to create a much more fluid texture.
