Cult-Favorite Non-GMO Hot Sauces

Karma Sauce Achieves Non-GMO Project Verification

Karma Sauce — the Finger Lakes-based hot sauce manufacturer known for its frequent appearances on the popular YouTube series Hot Ones — has achieved Non-GMO Project Verification for five of its handcrafted sauces. This includes Bad Karma, Cherry Bomb, Cosmic Dumpling, Ghost Island, and the recently launched Mesa Roja, which the brand is showcasing at the Summer Fancy Food Show in New York.

Karma Sauce's Mesa Roja variety delivers a smoky blend of chile peppers, pineapple, and honey. The product made a strong debut in Texas, where it earned five medals at the 2026 Fiery Food Challenge, including first-place wins in both the Smoky and Latin condiment categories. Mesa Roja is also the first Karma Sauce product to launch nationally with the Non-GMO Project Verified seal already in place.

Karma Sauce also calls attention to its collaboration with Iron Smoke Distillery, an Old Fashioned-inspired sauce that combines Karma's signature heat with the distillery's smoky spirit,
