Nomee Makes Sense of Various Internet Applications

Social Media is a great way to keep in touch with friends, and find out what others are doing and a program called Nomee just made doing that a whole lot easier.

Only problem with social media is that with so many social media outlets, it gets more, and more difficult to keep track of all the different social media networks available. If you are looking for a way to check out the latest video and picture uploads from those you care about the most, and do it all in one place, then maybe you need to get to Nomee.

Nomee is an Adobe Air App that allows you to link your different social media accounts (over 120 at last count) such as Twitter, Myspace, and Facebook into one convenient interface that has a look and feel similar to TweetDeck. However, this app does so much more. With TweetDeck, you start out with everyone being in your stream, and from there, you edit things down to make things more easy to look through, and search. With Nomee, you start out being able to pick out who you want to follow, and keep up with. You can also create different groups so that you can control who you share your personal information with, and what items you want to share. From there you can choose what items that you want each group to have access to, so you never have to worry about your friends being bombarded with pics and video clips.

For those looking for a new way to brand your products, and image, Nomee allows you to publish your own "card" on your website or blog so that other internet surfers can check out your latest pics, vids, and postings about you, your company, or whatever you want to share with the world (or a very select part of it). You can even stream video from the Nomee interface (unlike Twitter where you have to click a link to be taken to another site to check out a picture, or video).

You can also use the search function to check out specific content that your friends have made available to you. Plus, the graphics let you know what new updates have happened in each category. That way, you can see at a glance that some of your friends have uploaded new pics and you are able to just check out the pics without having to scroll through all the other content before getting to what you really were looking for. If all this sounds too good to be true, then you probably haven’t checked out this amazing app yet. It’s definitely worth getting into and will soon have even more features to explore and check out. If you’re ready to take your stake in the world of social media to a new level, then you definitely need to Nomee!
