Phone Call-Responding Tatts

The Nokia Vibrating Tattoo Consists of Ferromagnetic Inks

The Nokia vibrating tattoo takes receiving phone calls to a whole new level. While Apple may have a leg up with their highly coveted iPhone, soon Nokia will be enticing people with special tattoos that vibrate when their phone sends a specific signal.

Currently seeking a patent, the Nokia vibrating tattoo consists of haptics and ferromagnetic inks, which are applied in the same manner as normal tattoos. The only difference is that the ink must first be exposed to an external magnet to magnetize it in order for it to respond to a phone signal. Once applied, the Nokia vibrating tattoo will be able to inform people about different types of calls and messages through varying vibrant patterns.
