Lexar's NM1090 Achieves a 12,000Mb/s Sequential Read Speed

The Lexar NM1090 is an M.2 2280 PCIe Gen 5x4 NVMe SSD, designed to deliver high-speed performance for demanding applications. It features a PCIe Gen5x4 interface and NVMe 2.0 technology, offering sequential read speeds of up to 12,000MB/s and write speeds of up to 11,000MB/s for the 2TB and 4TB models, and slightly lower speeds for the 1TB model. The SSD is equipped with a heatsink to maintain optimal operating temperatures and ensure sustained performance. It is available in capacities of 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB, with a five-year limited warranty.

The Lexar NM1090 Gen5 SSD is available in 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB capacities. As of the latest information, the pricing is approximately $220 for the 1TB model and around $372 for the 2TB model. Details regarding the price for the 4TB model have not been disclosed yet. The NM1090 Gen5 SSD has been released to retail shelves, featuring an upgraded cooling design and the aforementioned speeds.
