Nimuno Loops is such a wonderfully simple idea you have to wonder why no one has thought of it before. Anine Kirsten and Max Basler of Cape Town, South Africa, have created tape that is compatible with LEGO, Mega Bloks, Kreo and many more types of toy bricks. Nimuno Loops is like tape in that it comes rolled up and cut into strips. However, there is a small backing that must be removed before the adhesive layer is revealed. The good thing about this design is that it makes Nimuno Loops reusable.
The purpose of Nimuno Loops is to promote play, plain and simple. It can be used to let the kids decorate the fridge while mom and dad customize the covers of their smartphones. Kirsten and Basler have taken to Indiegogo to raise money for Nimuno Loops. With a goal of $8,000 and a month left in the campaign the design duo has already raised a staggering $762,000.
