Volkswagen has indicated that it will release a new minimalist logo at its upcoming auto show in Frankfurt. This will be the first rebranding effort that the auto manufacturer has made since the year 2000. Volkswagen presented a new logo during its "Hello Light" campaign in June, which many people believe will be the new branding direction the company takes.
The new minimalist logo, presented in the 'Hello Light' campaign was presented in a 2D format and has the company's iconic interconnected "V" and "W" letters. The logo is only featured in black and white colors.
Many large brands have also changed to simple logos and Volkswagen appears to be adding its name to the list.
