'Opening Ceremony' unveiled its editorial for the clothing line titled Netflix and Chill, which combines the art of fashion with the act of relaxing. The clever title is geared towards the Millennial generation.
The youth demographic will appreciate the cozy clothes as well as the lazy day-inspired approach to fashion. Each image in this editorial series features one or two models perched in various locations such as a couch or bed. All of the images contain the glow of a TV or computer screen being reflected off the model's face. There are no images that have the subject looking at the camera at all. The models are wearing baggy clothing, scarves and warm-looking attire in each image.
With blank faces and cozy clothing, the Netflix and Chill editorial perfectly reflects the name. By transforming this common Millennial-made term into a fashion look book it will appeal to the convenience-focused generation.
