Matryoshka dolls may have inspired some unique and useful reinterpretations in the past, but the Nesting Twitter concept is particularly ingenious. Although it doesn't serve any practical purposes, Nesting Twitter was created to tell the story of the startup. It celebrates the founders and users of the world's favorite 140-character social network by beginning with the hatching of an idea to the originators Biz Stone and Jack Dorsey, all the way to the user community as a whole, which is the outermost shell.

Created by Yiying Lu, the creator of the Fail Whale graphic, Nesting Twitter is currently vying for funds on Kickstarter with a lofty goal of $30,000. Of course, these limited edition dolls, which are further decorated with @, reply and retweet symbols, will entice many.
