Nendo, a Japanese furniture company known for its minimalist design, is planning to cart out its newest seating model -- 'Sen,' the 'nendo' leather chair.
Gone are the days where you find yourself halfway sunk into the folds of your old leather armchair. The Sen is not even capable of engulfing you in the same way. Crafted with a cagey look, the leather strips are aluminum or carbon-enforced so that with impeccable aesthetic appeal comes robust support. The lightweight patio-appropriate design also beckons the opportunity for outdoor use. The designer believes that there is a more efficient way to reinvent the traditional leather armchair, only with less material and thus, less waste.
The Sen is one of a string of furnishings as of late that belong to a class of design, environment and functionality combined.
