BEAMS Has Released Needles New Rastafari Track Jacket and Pants

NEEDLES, a streetwear label founded by Keizo Shimizu, has officially unveiled its Spring/Summer 2022 collection, which centers around a sleek Rastafari-themed tracksuit. The new tracksuit look draws directly from the Africa-centered religion that first developed in the 1930s and later spread around the world due, in large part, to the success of Bob Marley's music.

As a result, the new Poly Smooth Track Jacket and Track Pants come donning red, green, and gold stripes atop a slick, slightly shiny black base. In addition, the NEEDLES signature butterfly logo is placed on the jacket's left breast and on the left pocket of the pants. Currently, both pieces are available at select BEAMS Japan stores, including BEAMS Harajuku and BEAMS Japan.
