Hyundai's recent gala held in Brazil helped to celebrate and bring awareness to National Day Against Tobacco with a clever sidewalk design that created different lanes for smokers and non-smokers.
The lane design was inspired by the notion that non-smoker dislike walking behind smokers because of the fumes that travel. This sidewalk design splits the pavement in two creating a distinct smoker and non-smoker lanes that are marked with symbols and split using a bright blue dotted line. The sidewalk only lasted for a day but it brought awareness to the harmful effects of smoking has on the body. The sidewalk designs visually gives smokers that little push they need to seek out help to quit.
