Nathaniel Poole Drives His Mitsubishi Delica on Kitchen Waste Not Gas

There's nothing better than turning trash into treasure, and that's exactly what Nathaniel Poole has done with his Mitsubishi Delica, which is powered by kitchen grease rather than gasoline. Poole modified the fuel intake system of the vehicle to accept kitchen grease and diesel, which can be turned on with the flick of a switch. While the vehicle still accepts gasoline, the kitchen grease intake can be switched on for longer trips to be more fuel efficient and less polluting.

While Poole's Mitsubishi Delica might be a lean, mean kitchen grease-guzzling machine, it's not the peppiest vehicle on the road: it has a 95 horsepower engine. Poole dedicates his rear bumper to storing extra kitchen grease for when he's on a long haul.
