Natalia Vodianova in US Vogue September 2012 is captured doing a time piece as she impersonates the famous Edith Wharton for the upcoming fall issue. This series, which was photographed by Annie Leibovitz, recreates a day in the life of Edith Wharton, and the marvellous estate she lived on for so many years.
The stylist Grace Coddington combines taste and class and dressed the models in elegant garments fitting the early era. Natalia Vodianova is captured walking down the estate's stairs, in her bed, frollicking on the grass and with her partners.
Edith was a famous writer in the early 20th century who published many novels, stories and travel sketches. Edith was an independent and elegant woman who always had power over her style and materials.
