The Nasty Set is a far cry from the often feminine and dainty tea sets that are traditionally made. Of course, the Nasty Set is clearly not made for the traditional. Instead, it offers a quirky and contemporary alternative that definitely targets the young, hipster crowd.
Designed by José Paulo Alves Corceiro, the Nasty Set is full of attitude. Literally. The teapot and teacups feature illustrated cartoon faces that depict rather sour faces, as though someone decided to squeeze a bit too much lemon into their pot of tea. Nevertheless, as grumpy as the three pieces seems, there is an adorable quality to them as well that makes the Nasty Set quite endearing.
Interestingly enough, in addition to targeting the younger generation, the Nasty Set seems to be targeting the male sex as well.
