Napwell is a sunrise sleep mask that ensures people are woken up at the optimal time during their sleep cycle. Targeting nappers specifically, Napwell brings attention to the fact that even with a quick shut-eye, people can often wake up feeling worse off than before. This is often due to being jolted out of sleep unceremoniously.
Designed by Justin Lee alongside engineers at MIT, Standford and Harvard Medical School, Napwell helps people get the best nap ever by using lights that gradually get stronger to emulate a sunrise. Up until this point, however, the Napwell mask completely blocks out all surrounding light to ensure people fall asleep quickly and remain undisturbed. It is powered by batteries.
