Mushroom-Core Audio Speakers

MYCOAUDIO and EDEN Power Corp Join Forces on a New Speaker

EDEN Power Corp works in collaboration with MYCOAUDIO on a new design that highlights sustainability throughout its entire processes. It is a speaker that houses mushrooms inside and they do create a sound-based art exhibition for Forza gallery located in Montreal, Canada. The body is made from a Raku-fired ceramic shell and once it opens up, it unveils reishi mushrooms.

Visually, the mushroom sprouts out of the speaker and is the perfect representation of how nature meets technology. The root structure replaces the functions of plastic foam that is open inside of speakers as it offers a literal natural sound. It all has its own podium where it plays tracks from local artists and additionally, it is also programmed to play meditation guides.
