Popular dating app Tinder has teamed up with music streaming giant Spotify to launch Tinder Music Mode, a new in-app feature that allows users to pick a personal Anthem' that will play directly on their profile.
The new feature will be accessible through Tinder's Explore section, where users will be required to link their Spotify accounts. From there, users simply have to choose a song that they feel defines their personality best. Those without a Spotify account will still be able to use the new feature, but their top artists will not be added to their profiles.
“It’s amazing how adding music as another element of discovery elevates the whole experience on Tinder. Songs are deeply personal, and Music Mode is a place to spark something new through music," said Kyle Miller, VP of Product Innovation at Tinder.
