NAMESAKE introduces its new capsule designed for the Spring/Summer 2021 season -- the MUSCLE MEMORY Capsule is the second to drop for the season. The focus behind the capsule this time around references a family trip to Hawaii back in 2007. The brothers look back to the first time that they were exposed to the concept of the American dream.
The seasonal collection spotlights motherhood and shines light on the matter after politician Patsy Mink broke boundaries. She opened doors for minorities in America, creating more inclusive perspectives of females in sports. The capsule uses this as inspiration and explores a balance between masculinity and femininity. This can be seen through the voluminous bottoms, fluid paneling, crochet paneling, and shoulder lines.
