A fashion designer and a Dutch artists have joined forces to create ‘More Than our Bellies’ -- a cookbook that any lover of fine art or dining will appreciate.

The book, which was produced by Phillip Lim and Viviane Sassen, is equal parts beautiful and practical, offering the reader something that’s heartfelt, creative and unique. The book begins with a statement from Lim, which reads “Let me be honest with you – I am not a chef, and this is not a traditional cookbook ...The recipes are personal and perhaps naive, but over the years they have allowed me to express myself and share my joy of cooking.” This statement sets the tone for what the remainder of the cookbook contains, as it’s filled with delicious South Asian-Inspired comfort food.
