Skip Hop's Moonlight & Melodies owl is a night light that projects stars and moons in a calm and soft light to the walls and ceiling to soothe kids as they fall asleep. The light glows in a dim manner as the belly of the owl plays four melodies -- twinkle twinkle little star, Eine Kleine Nachtmusick, Rock-a-bye baby, and Brahms' lullaby.
In addition to the melodies, the light also plays a selection of four different nature sounds including waves, white noise with a heartbeat, the rainforest, and jungle crickets -- the speakers are covered with a fabric for softer sounds. Additional components includes the auto-off timer settings of 15, 30, 60 minutes or continuous play options when it is plugged in.
