Lunar Surface Motorcycles

The Hookie Co. Tardigrade Moon Concept Motorcycle is Advanced

The Hookie Co. Tardigrade moon concept motorcycle is imagined by Andrey Fabishevsky as a futuristic transportation solution that would offer lunar explorers with the ability to discover new frontiers with ease.

The motorcycle maintains an electric build that is packed with a battery rated for 68-miles of range at a maximum speed of 9mph. The tires on the bike are airless to help eliminate the need for inflated alternatives, while the body is achieved with ultralight materials for a total weight of 295.42-pounds. This would translate to about 50-pounds on the lunar surface given the lower gravity on the surface.

The Hookie Co. Tardigrade moon concept motorcycle is being shown off as a prototype as part of the ADV:Overland Exhibit taking place at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, California starting in mid-October 2021.
