Mononoke Made Returns with Eight Handcrafted Apparel Designs

mononoke made is the collaborative fashion project created by Takashi Murakami and Yuta Hosokawa, and its second collection expands the partnership with eight new apparel styles. The capsule incorporates recurring Murakami motifs including Kaikai & Kiki, Panda, Sakura, Eyeball, and characters from the artist's 6HP animation project. Graphics appear across multiple areas of each garment, extending beyond the front panel to sleeves and back sections. The collection combines Murakami's visual language with Hosokawa's approach to garment construction and finishing.

Highlights include the L/S T-Shirt_Superflat featuring 6HP artwork and a portrait of Murakami, alongside the Soccer Shirt_Sakura, a pink jersey covered in cherry blossom imagery and finished with custom 925 sterling silver skull buttons. Every piece undergoes manual aging and hand-applied distressing, creating variations between individual garments.
