Post-Pandemic Hospitality

Trend Hunter's Now Trending Series Explores Modern Hospitality Trends

Armida Ascano, Trend Hunter's Chief Content Officer, covered a range of modern hospitality trends in "Top Hospitality Trends in the Recharting," an insightful video launched as part of the platform's Now Trending series on YouTube.

The video dives into the recent disruptions in the hospitality industry, exploring how hotels, restaurants, and air-travel industries have adapted to shifts in customer pressures. Restaurants and hotels have had to completely shift business models to accommodate social distancing and pandemic measures, which provided an opportunity for brands to better address customer desires, such as more experience-focused hotels, or CPG products directly curated by restaurants.

Armida discusses the 'Restaurant Branded' insight, which is an excellent example of how one segment of the hospitality industry quickly adapted to better serve its customers. In many countries, restaurants quickly became unable to serve customers at traditional tables, leading to restaurants launching their own alcohol, seasoning, or sauce brands to increase cash flow while still providing customers with quality food products.
