Photographer Mario Testino seems to be in the middle of every hip and fabulous fashion shoot these days. The images displayed in the gallery belong to the October 2008 issue of Vogue Paris editorial Afrodisiaque.
Models Lakshmi Menon and Yasmin Warsame were shot by Testino rocking a really disparate wardrobe. But one of the many shared features in this shoot was that all the models were black. Moreover, they all wore their hair in teased out afros or dirty blond afro wigs.
But the most outstanding and conspicuous distinction of this shoot were the black sandals with the incredibly huge platforms and heels the models are wearing.
I really like the form and the aesthetics of this Mario Testino shoot. The man is a genius on that fashion set.
