Scandinavian furniture manufacturer Dagmarr has just relaunched the Model 36 desk originally made by Severin Hansen. It is a classic model that was released back in 1958 defined by its solid wood build and tapered legs. It also features a notable three-way mitred joint.
It was created early in Hansen's career, when he was only 22. The Model 36 desk is a part of the larger Margrethe collection, named after the recent queen of Denmark, Margrethe II, who adored Hansens' work. Dagmar speaks about the design, "Severin Hansen's Model 36 desk is arguably the finest to be designed during the Danish Modern period. It was a design so ahead of its time that it looks distinctly contemporary even by today's standard."
