Andrew Coimbra Marks a Milestone at ModaLisboa This Year

Andrew Coimbra is a Toronto-based fashion designer and he prepares to mark a unique milestone as the first Canadian label to present its pieces at Lisbon Fashion Week at ModaLisboa since 1991. He is set to showcase his Spring 2019 collection on October 14. Coimbra's father is Portuguese by birth and his new seasonal range is designed with inspiration drawn from the city and its carefree spirit in the summertime.

There are also design cues that draw influence from contemporary artists such as Keith Coventry, Jean-François Lauda, and John Zabawa infused into the collection through the means of textiles and colors. The collection evokes a feeling that is drawn from urban settings including busy city parks and bodegas.
