Xiaomi is Launching its 'MIX Flip' in Global Market after Exclusivity

The 'Xiaomi MIX Flip' is the company’s first clamshell foldable smartphone, featuring a 6.86-inch AMOLED inner display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 4.01-inch external display. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. The device includes a dual rear camera setup with two 50-megapixel sensors and a 32-megapixel front camera. The MIX Flip runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS, based on Android 14, and is equipped with a 4,780mAh battery that supports 67W wired fast charging.

In terms of pricing and availability, the Xiaomi MIX Flip was initially launched in China in July 2024, with a starting price of CNY 5,999 (approximately $825). The device is set to launch globally in September 2024, with expected pricing in Europe around 2,600 Bulgarian leva (approximately $1,450). The MIX Flip will be available in multiple configurations, including 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, 12GB RAM + 512GB storage, and 16GB RAM + 1TB storage. Specific release dates and regional availability details are anticipated to be announced during the Xiaomi 14T series launch event later this month.
