The 2009 Venice Carnival provided the usual array of awesome images featured at the annual costume event, including haute designer publicity stunts, including a living angel by fashion house, Missoni.
Margherita Missoni, the granddaughter of Rosita and Ottavio Missoni who founded the Missoni knitwear company, performed the traditional Flight of the Angel hanging from a cable tied from the bell tower at St Mark's Square. For her performance, she worn a Missoni-designed dress.
