Misfits by Judith Seng and Alex Valder is a darling collection of illusion-filled drink ware.
One might have to intensely strain their eyes to make out the shapes and presence of the almost invisible glassware. These pieces are so purely pristine that they almost seem to be a figment of an active imagination. This glass collection by two Berlin-based designers is delicate and simply styled.
In the photographs the artistic glassware is shown stacked, carefully balanced on each other and displayed in front of a bleak background. The glass goblets featured are seen in a variety sizes, shapes, thickness and functionality. playing up the name of the product 'Misfits.' This name perfectly describes the unorthodox shapes, sizes and set ups of these haunting housewares. Currently, the Helmrinderknecht contemporary design Gallery in Berlin is showing the light-as-air glass collection of Misfits by Judith Seng and Alex Valder.
