Prada, like others, has looked backwards to see the future. How about lace for the next innovation?
Lace has come from virginal fabric that was worn to church to a sensual material that was worn to bed. Now Prada is showing, through their Fall 2008 collection in Milan, that it can be worn at all times, and in all places. It's extraordinarily beautiful and versatile.
The gallery shows some of the looks Prada worked into glamorous pieces, like mid-calf length lace skirts, jackets, button-up shirts as well as lace details and accessories.
