Midburn is a Non-Profit Organization Based off Participatory Culture

Midburn is an organization that encourages experience with participatory culture in order to create an authentic festival motivated by a plethora of angles. The vast social, environmental, and cultural development creates a dynamic event made up of the efforts of over 40,000 members.

Midburn takes place in the Negev desert, making it the largest creative community in Isreal. The festival occurs over the span of 6 days and it boasts the mission of creating a platform that encourages a communal lifestyle of radical self-expression, creativity, and art. Almost every performance and display is created by its citizens, which are the result of active participants present at the event.
