Joel Dietz, the original founder of the cryptocurrency wallet service 'MetaMask,' and arguably the man who created the field of cryptoeconomics, has launched a new company titled 'MetaMetaverse.' MetaMetaverse has secured $2 million USD in funding so far as it continues to generate more partners and attention at a rapid pace.
MetaMetaverse will run on a layer 1 blockchain protocol similar to Ethereum, but will be cross-chain, meaning it will have support for most Web3 services. Additionally, Dietz wants the MetaMetaverse to be usable as a tool for Web3 experiences such as VR games, digital worlds, and running VR simulations.
