The Meiji Hokkaido Tokachi Smart Cheese range has been expanded by the brand in Japan as part of its initiative to tap into consumer demand for snacking cheeses that pair well with alcoholic beverages.

The products come in two options including the Aged Cheddar Blend and the Black Pepper Parmesan Blend, which both come individually wrapped and are crafted with more than 60% natural cheese. The products leverage the brand's proprietary umami lactic acid bacteria maturation technology to give each bite a premium flavor with a melty mouth texture that replicates the experience of traditional aged cheeses.
