Glasses wearers finally get a smartphone stand designed specifically for them in the form of the Megane smartphone stand. The Megane smartphone stand is a quirky gadget stand made by Nendo for Elecom. The stand is designed to look and act like a pair of glasses.
Whereas glasses usually have glass lenses, the Megane smartphone stand uses suction cups. The cups grab onto your gadget and help steady it to keep it from toppling over. Nendo has been on a tear recently, designing a slew of computer and tech gadgets for Elecom. The collaboration has led to some interesting concepts such as the battery-shaped mouse and the angular Ormie mouse. Here’s hoping that more American electronic companies turn to designers to re-imagine their peripherals.
