Nuclear Submarine Furniture

Matrix Unplugged Chair

If you want to spend $35,000 on a hideous looking chair, then artist Zoran Milivojevic has just the one for you - it's called the Matrix Unplugged Chair.

The tech geeky chair is made from the torpedo lifting jaws of a nuclear submarine, making it the ultimate boy toy as it retains it's integral engineering and design complexity. If you really wanted to wax lyrical about it (AKA bore dinner party guests) then the best part is that it's the original unit. You won't find any more of these anywhere!

There are also motorized hydraulics to adjust the chair position and it comes in different colours.

All this aside, it is still exceptionally ugly and very expensive.
