Malley's Chocolates puts a unique twist on its signature marshmallow treats with freeze-drying technology, introducing Marshmallow Crunch for snacking experiences that are light, airy, and crispy.
Marshmallow Crunch starts with traditional milk chocolate-covered marshmallows and chewy caramel candy that's sliced into pieces and freeze-dried. This process removes the water and puffs up the marshmallow and caramel, creating an exploded form that's fun to eat. Although they offer a different experience texturally after freeze-drying, these candies are said to retain their flavor. “Kids love it, and it gives us a new product that appeals to a younger demographic,” said Mike Malley, president and CEO.
Freeze-dried candy offers a unique twist on sweets beloved by all ages because it reinvents normally soft, squishy, chewy textures with a satisfying, crispy crunch.
