adidas Joins Marimekko on a New Capsule for SS23

adidas works in collaboration with Finnish textile design company Marimekko on a new collection designed for the Spring/Summer 2023 season. It is detailed with two classic Marimekko patterns that stem from the 60s, seen decorating a series of timeless apparel and footwear that channel a sense of individuality through movement.

It adorns a series of active apparel as well, detailed by a stylistic pattern. The pieces are made from recycled materials adorned by the Linssi print, which is an oval lens design that was created by Kaarina Kellomäki in 1966 and still remains a staple for Marimekko today. The other pattern is the Lokki print, which is a wavy look that is designed by Maija Isola in 1961.
