I love portrait photography because, if executed right, it can reveal so much of what underlies a person, such as these Marieke van der Velden images. Especially now that I’m finally getting into the documentary genre, I feel everyday portraits are particularly striking.
Unfortunately, I can’t tell you much more about the photographer except that Marieke van der Velden is based in the Netherlands. But I think the best way to get to know her is through her photography. So enjoy!
