Photographed for Dealer De Luxe, these time-travelling photos were inspired by Marc Thirouin’s visit to Oslo, Norway and explore a distinct subculture that has seemingly been frozen in time. Each picture encapsulates the sultry, seductive vibe of yesteryears, yet they also feature suave and sexy subjects who rock out with contemporary leanings. There’s definitely a cinematic feel to these photos and all the cliched elements, from the makeup to the diners and jukeboxes. The models’ expressions and Marc Thirouin’s use of light is also both simultaneously haunting and beautiful.
