Marc Jacobs closed NYFW with the Marc Jacobs S/S '16 collection. Putting on quite a show, the American designer presented a collection that fuses fashion and theater.

Though the runway show was held inside the Ziegfeld Theater and accented by drinks, popcorn, theater staff and a "One Night Only" marquee, the true entertainment was this exciting collection. With the Marc Jacobs S/S '16 collection, the designer paid homage to his native land, but more specifically NYC.

The clothing is nothing short of glamorous and ranges from satin suits to luxe outerwear. Red, white and blue is the color palette, while the American flag is a frequently used motif. In a collection of 62 looks, Jacobs offers showgirl chic, 40s glam and military grunge. The versatility of this collection proves that there is so much beauty within the Land of the Free.
