Marc Jacobs Fall/Winter 2013 Brings Back Old School Rock and Roll

Old school punk rock inspirations were seen throughout the Marc Jacobs Fall/Winter 2013 collection.

The pieces, which were modeled with an air of boyish charm, had many rock and Teddy Boy references throughout. Plaid suits and separates, velvet-trimmed suits, Western style adornments and leaf printed pieces were the dominant pieces in the Marc Jacobs Fall/Winter 2013 collection. The models sported slicked back hair, reminiscent of rockabilly style, which complemented the overall look of the collection. Highlights included a dark blue mink stole, fur lapels and a velvet tuxedo, which added an upscale and opulent touch to the collection.

What is interesting about the upcoming winter lines are the added fur embellishments, which is starting to make a comeback in menswear. This further fortifies that any debonair gentlemen is sure to look divine in any of these pieces.
