Pixelated Tribute Art

This Nelson Mandela Tribute by Guy Whitby Pushes the Right Buttons

I’m sure by now you’ve seen a lot of Nelson Mandela tributes, but this one definitely takes the cake. Walking a thin line of respectful and a little ridiculous, Guy Whitby’s Mandela tribute is like nothing you’ve ever seen.

The 95 year-old anti-apartheid leader died on December 5, 2013. He leaves a legacy behind of being the first black South African President.

This Mandela tribute is made up of different kinds of computer keys. The different keys are in varying colors. When you look up close, it just looks like a mismatched jumble, but back away and you can more clearly see the Nobel Prize winner’s face.

The overall effect makes it look like it is a very pixelated picture. The farther away from the picture you move the clearer it looks.
