A great deal of styluses are employed simply for the task of pointing and choosing different icons on one's smartphone or tablet touchscreen. The MagPen Concept is intended for those with greater demands for drawing, as well as interacting with their devices in more efficient ways.

This magnetically driven pen by SungJae Hwang would communicate a great deal more information than your typical electronic stylus. Your gadget would be able to determine the orientation of the MagPen, it would recognize a range of gestures and be sensitive to the pressure applied against the display. The MagPen Concept user would be able to interface with the screen before him, but also input commands that are generally accessible only in other operation modes.
